Same Great Sound
We’ve taken the classic Archel 2.5 amp and pumped it up a notch. This amp still sports the Balanced Inputs along with a set of Unbalanced Inputs, plus a set of Unbalanced Preamp Outputs. The volume is controlled through a smooth Alps 10K pot. We upgraded the power supply to our redesigned 2watt source which runs through a pair of OPA1612 Opamps.
One Great Amp Now in Two Case Sizes
The updated 2.5 series amp now comes in two sizes:
The “X” model is the standard 4.25″ x 3.25″ x 2″ (Original Archel 2.5/Erish size).
The “XL” model is the large 6.125″ x 5″ x 2″ (JNOG/J2/E2 size). Available in wood or aluminum.
This allows you to stack the X or XL model with the ENOG or JNOG series DAC’s.
